Planning Permission Granted in Newton-Le-Willows, St Helens

Planning has recently been approved by St Helens Council for our client’s ground floor side extension to their semi-detached property in Newton-Le-Willows. In addition, planning permission has also been granted for alterations to a wrap-around link roof over the front porch.

For this project, the brief we received from the client was:

►Maximise the available space to better suit their needs (as they care for foster children).

►Create a new utility space separated from the kitchen.

►Create a downstairs shower room.

►Extend the property up to the boundary to create a new peaceful living space overlooking the garden.

The existing ground floor layout was classic for semi-detached houses in this area: separate reception rooms at the front, with the kitchen and existing lean-to extension to the rear. The proposed alterations and new extension would add a considerable amount of value to their property.

Now that we have gained planning approval, we have developed a detailed set of Building Regulations drawings. These drawings can be used to get accurate quotes from builders and contractors so that the client can move forward with the build. We are excited to see how the finished project turns out!
