GROUND FLOOR REAR EXTENSION CULCHETHÂ
Looking to add more space to your home in Culcheth? As experienced extension architects we can guarantee you a service that impresses you. A recently completed successful rear extension project gave our clients a spacious open-plan area for entertaining, dining, and kitchen use. The extension also included a convenient utility room and ground floor bathroom, perfect for a growing family.
To allow for even more enjoyment of the outdoors, we installed a set of bi-folding doors along the full width of the rear extension. We also added apex glazing above the doors, extending to the underside of the vaulted roof for added natural light. This feature was also included in a previous extension project for a neighbour in 2017.
Our clients were concerned about the rear elevation of their home and wanted to increase natural light. We provided sketch proposals for realigning and enlarging the existing windows, which not only brought in more daylight to the bedroom but also added symmetry to the rear elevation.
Before construction, an old conservatory on the property had to be demolished. Our planning drawings were approved by Warrington Council within the required 8 weeks and we have since provided tender and building regulations drawings to the clients and recommended reputable builders for the project based on our previous experiences working with them.
