We were appointed by our client to reconfigure and extend their property on Poplar Ave in Ashton-in-Makerfield, Wigan. With the intention of creating a large open plan kitchen/dining room, new utility and down stairs shower room creating a more practical setting. 

The property already had an existing extension which the client felt didn’t suit their needs and consequently became an unused space. When re-designing the ground floor layout, we decided to demolish the existing extension and make use of the existing space. 

This allowed us to create the new open-plan ground floor layout and make a fresh start with the design. Opting for a flat roof extension, we were able to allow ample amounts of natural light with a combination of large Bi-folding doors and a roof lantern.
